Back in June (which now seems like a lifetime away), I went up to London for a couple of days to the Britmums Live bloggers conference. Somehow I just haven’t managed to write about that experience but suffice to say it was great fun and I learnt a thing or two. I met many lovely people and it was great fun. At the end of the conference we all received goody bags with various things in. One of which was a voucher code for a personal planner.
One of the first things I did when I got home was go on their website which you can find here and browsed! The concept is a simple one. You can personalise a planner for yourself right down to the colour of the elastic on the planner! I chose to have an academic diary format since J is starting nursery next month and he has umpteen appointments still. The photograph I chose for the front was taken on his third birthday back in May so I thought it an apt choice. It is also hands down one of my favourite photo’s of him taken this year. I love the look of pure joy on his face (he was sitting on a little train at Pecorama in Beer – another thing I have failed to write up about but go if you are in the area with your littleys – it’s fab!).
Before the first page of the planner, there is a little ruler and a plastic wallet for putting all those scraps of paper that are so important you really don’t want to lose them. Next is a ‘Help me if I’m lost’ page which is on the quirky side, which is right up my street. . I added my name and email address in there.
As for the diary pages, you have a choice of borders for the top and you can then add little boxes on the bottom of the pages with a variety of choices. I chose – To Do, Training, Notes and Ideas of the Week; along with weather boxes added in to each day. Fun little extras!
At the back of the diary there is an Overview for 2014 and 2015. Then you have a choice of note pages, sudoku pages or world maps over a few pages. I chose the latter. I have to say I do love this planner. The fact you really can personalise it so much and it comes in different sizes. Prices range from £14.99 for a small planner through to £21.99 for a large one.
I am delighted to say that thanks to Personal Planner I am running a giveaway here to give one of you the chance to create your very own bespoke planner in whatever size you want!Awesome Sauce! Good Luck!
